The
aim of this website is to give you - young people in schools, youth
groups and elsewhere - an opportunity to discuss sex, life and relationships
with your peers and also get information about your concerns and
problems.
Auntie
Stella consists of 33 letters
on subjects chosen by Zimbabwean teenagers, as well as replies and
ideas about further action you can take.
You
can use the site on your own or in a group.
Doing
it on your own lets you work at your own speed, and deal with the
problems most relevant to you; it also gives you privacy. The disadvantage
is that you can't discuss the letters, except later or through the
bulletin board. Working in a group gives you lots of room for discussion,
which is important, but it's less private and everyone decides things
together. Most teenagers like to work in girl-only or boy-only groups,
but that's up to you.
Each
question and answer activity card takes about 30 - 45 minutes to
complete, especially
if you are working in a group and discussing the cards together.
